LAWS OF MARYLAND

13-605.

(b) (1) The Corporation has a board of directors. The
board consists of 11 voting members.

(2) Of the 11 board members:

(i) 6 members shall, be real estate licensees,
at least one of whom is also a homebuilder;

(ii) 1 shall be a member of the low income
housing advisory board;

(iii) 2 shall be representatives of nonprofit
housing organizations; and

(iv) 2 shall be public members.

(3) The Governor shall appoint the board members with
the advice and consent of the Senate.

(4) Board members shall be residents of the State who
represent the different regions of. the State.

(5) The Secretary of the Department of [Economic]
HOUSING and Community Development or the Secretary's designee
shall sit as an ex officio, nonvoting member of the board.

Article - Health - Environmental

6-604.

(a) (3) Of the 19 members appointed by the Governor, the
following members shall represent each of the following groups:

(i) 1 shall represent the Department of Health
and Mental Hygiene;

(ii) 1 shall represent the Department of
[Economic] HOUSING and Community Development;

(iii) 1 shall represent the property and
casualty insurance industry;

(iv) 1 shall represent the mortgage banking
industry;

(v) 1 shall represent the Maryland
Occupational, Safety, and Health Office (MOSH);

(vi) 3 shall represent owners of rental
property in areas with a significant presence of lead-based
paint;
