LAWS OF MARYLAND

[13-104.] 7-304.

(a)  The State Treasurer is responsible for the management
of funds in the Trust Fund and shall manage those funds under the
authority granted in §§ 6-222 and 6-223 of the State Finance and
Procurement Article.

(b)  The State Treasurer shall make an annual report to the
Board of Trustees, to the Governor, and, in accordance with §
2-1312(b) of the State Government Article, to the General
Assembly concerning the management of the funds in the preceding
fiscal year.

(c)  If the Treasurer invests money of the Trust Fund, the
Treasurer shall credit the interest or other income from the
investment to the appropriate account of the Trust Fund.

[13-105.] 7-305.

(a) (1) There is a Board of Trustees for the Trust Fund
consisting of 15 members.

(2) Of the 15 members:

(i) The 5 ex officio voting members shall be:

1.  The Comptroller of the Treasury;

2.  The Secretary of Natural Resources or
a designee of the Secretary;

3.  The Secretary of Human Resources or a
designee of the Secretary;

                                      4. The Secretary of Transportation or a

designee of the Secretary; and

5. The Secretary of Budget and Fiscal
Planning or a designee of the Secretary.

(ii) The 6 voting members appointed by the
Governor shall be:

1. 2 members from the public;

2. 1 member representing the utility
industry; and

2. 3 members of local government
appointed in the following manner:

A. 1 person from a list of 3 persons
submitted by the Maryland Association of Counties;
