(b) The Department shall also include such other agencies,
commissions, boards, committees, councils or units of government
as may hereafter pursuant to law be declared to be part of the
Department [of Economic and Community Development].

[(d)] (C) (1) [There is a] THE Department [of Economic and
Community Development Advisory Commission] SHALL ESTABLISH THE
ADVISORY COUNCILS, BOARDS, AND COMMITTEES AS SHALL BE DETERMINED
BY THE GOVERNOR AND THE SECRETARY.

(2)   [The Commission consists of 29 members appointed
by the Secretary of Economic and Community Development with the
approval of the Governor and shall include:

(i) 21 members from the public at large;

(ii) 1 member recommended by each of the
following organizations:

1.  Maryland State-D.C. AFL/CIO

2.  Maryland Association of Counties

3.  Maryland Association of Housing and
Redevelopment Agencies

4.  Maryland Industrial Development
Association

5.  Maryland Municipal League

6.  Maryland State Chamber of Commerce

7.  Maryland Travel Council

8.  Society of Industrial Realtors

(3)  The term of a member is 4 years beginning July 1,
1984.
