[4-712.                                                             

(a)  A license expires on the last day of February after its
effective date, unless the license is renewed for a 1-year term
as provided in this section.

(b)  At least 1 month before the license expires, the
Secretary shall send to the licensee, by first class mail to the
last known address of the licensee, a renewal notice that states:

(1)  The date on which the current license expires;

(2)  The date by which the renewal application must be
received by the Secretary for the renewal to be issued and mailed
before the license expires; and

(3)  The amount of the renewal fee.

(c)  Before the license expires, the licensee periodically
may renew it for an additional 1-year term, if the licensee:

(1)  Otherwise is entitled to be licensed;

(2)  Pays to the Secretary a renewal fee of $10; and

(3)  Submits to the Secretary a renewal application on
the form that the Secretary requires.

(d)  The Secretary shall renew the license of each licensee
who meets the requirements of this section.

(e) A license is not transferable.]

If the Secretary finds that a crab meat plant is in
violation of this subtitle of any rule or regulation adopted
under this subtitle, the Secretary shall notify the licensee in
writing:                                                                   

(1)  Of the nature of the violation;

(2)  Of a date by which the licensee shall correct the
deficiencies specified in the notice; and

(3)  That if the licensee fails to correct the
conditions by the date specified, the license may be revoked.]

Subject to the hearing requirements of § 4-715 of this
subtitle, if the licensee fails, within the time specified in the
notice given by the Secretary under § 4-713 of this subtitle, to
