(b) A person may not transfer food from one cold storage
warehouse to another with the intent to avoid the requirements of
this subtitle.]

(a)  A person may not represent as fresh any food that has
been in cold storage for 30 days or more.

(b)  Unless, at the place of sale, there is a conspicuous
sigh that states "cold storage goods", a person may not sell or
offer for sale any food that has been in cold storage for 30 days
or more.]

If food has been released from cold storage for the purpose
of placing the food on the market for sale, a person may not
return the food to cold storage.]

[Subtitle 6. Canneries and Frozen Food Processing Plants]

[Part I. Definitions; General Provisions]

[4-601.

(a)  In this subtitle the following words have the meanings
indicated.

(b)   "Cannery" means a place where, for commercial purposes,
food is:

(1)  Cooked, preserved, processed, or prepared;

(2)  Placed in a can or other container; and

(3)  Hermetically sealed.

(c)  "Frozen food processing plant" means a place where, for
commercial purposes, food is:

(1)  Prepared;

(2)  Frozen; and

(3)  Placed in a container.

(d)  "License" means a license issued by the Secretary to
operate:

(1)  A cannery; or

(2)  A frozen food processing plant.]
