with those functions transferred by this Act shall continue in
effect under the Director of Juvenile Services or the appropriate
board, council, or other unit within the Agency, until completed,
withdrawn, cancelled, modified, or otherwise changed pursuant to
law.
SECTION 8. AND BE IT FURTHER ENACTED, That, if any
provision of this Act or the application thereof to any person or
circumstance is held invalid for any reason in a court of
competent jurisdiction, the invalidity does not affect other
provisions or any other application of this Act which can be
given effect without the invalid provision or application, and
for this purpose the provisions of this Act are declared
severable.
SECTION 9. AND BE IT FURTHER ENACTED, That, pursuant to the
plan of reorganization that is proposed by this Act, the
publishers of the Annotated Code of Maryland, subject to the
approval of the Director of the Department of Legislative
Reference, shall propose the correction of any agency names and
titles that are rendered incorrect by this Act and the correction
of numerical and similar non-numerical cross-references
throughout the Annotated Code that refer to the provisions found
in this Act.
SECTION 10. AND BE IT FURTHER ENACTED, That Section(s)
6-101, 6-102, 6-103, 6-110, 6-201, 6-202, 6-203, 6-204, and 6-205
of the Health - General Article of the Annotated Code of Maryland
be repealed.
SECTION 9 11. AND BE IT FURTHER ENACTED, That this Act
shall take effect July 1, 1987.

Transportation - Taxes and Revenues
FOR the purpose of altering the taxes imposed on motor vehicle
and aviation fuels; altering certain permit and registration
fees for motor vehicles; specifying the periods when these
