(ii) Actions against a foster parent by a
natural parent for any accident to the foster child.
(c) (1) Subject to the provisions of this section, the
[Secretary] DIRECTOR shall reimburse a foster parent for costs of
bodily injury or property damage that the foster child causes to
the foster parent and that insurance does not cover.
(2) Before reimbursement under this subsection, the
[Secretary] DIRECTOR shall be satisfied that the actions of the
foster parent did not contribute substantially to the bodily
injury or property damage sustained.
(3) Reimbursement under this subsection shall be made
for all costs to a maximum amount of $5,000. However, all
payments in excess of $500 require the approval of the Board of
public Works.

The House of the Good Shepherd of the City of Baltimore may
receive any female minor who is:
(1) Sent to it by her parent or guardian;
(2) Placed with it by any public officer or agency
authorized to place her; or
(3) Committed to it by any court authorized to commit
her.

The House of the Good Shepherd may retain a female minor for
the term and on the conditions specified by the sending parent or
guardian or by the placement or commitment order.

Subject to § [6-202] 3-102 of this subtitle, the House of
the Good Shepherd may educate and train a female minor and place
her in employment.

The House of the Good Shepherd may adopt rules and
regulations as it considers appropriate for the government of its
houses.

general charge of the care of committed children in need of
