(a) (3) In Frederick [County] AND QUEEN ANNE'S COUNTIES the
notice shall be published 3 times, once a week for 3 successive
weeks.

SECTION 2. AND BE IT FURTHER ENACTED, That this Act is
declared to be an emergency measure and necessary for the
immediate preservation of the public health and safety and having
been passed by a yea and nay vote supported by three-fifths of
all the members elected to each of the two Houses of the General
Assembly, it shall take effect from the date of its passage.

(House Bill 304)

AN ACT concerning

Queen Anne's County - Taxes - Late Charge

FOR the purpose of repealing a provision that permits the Queen
Anne's County Treasurer to collect a certain commission on
the amount of all tax sales by the County Treasurer;
requiring a certain late charge on all taxes and special
assessments, including interest due and unpaid on April 1 of
each year; requiring the late charge to be paid into and
become a part of the General Fund of Queen Anne's County;
and making this Act an emergency measure.
