(c) "Farm product" means any agricultural, horticultural,
vegetable, or fruit product of the soil, including livestock,
meats, marine food products, poultry, eggs, dairy products, wool,
hides, feathers, nuts, honey, and every product of farm, forest,
orchard, garden or water, but does not include canned, frozen,
dried, OR pickled products.

DRAFTER'S NOTE: This corrects the omission of a disjunctive
"or" from § 10-601(c) of the Agriculture Article.

The disjunction was omitted in Ch. 6 of the First
Special Session of the General Assembly of 1973.

The omission of the disjunction was noted by the
Michie Company.

10-703.

(a) The Secretary, after investigation and public hearing,
may:

(2) Adopt rules and regulations governing the
markings required on the container of any fruit or vegetable, for
the purpose of showing any or all of the following:

(ii) The name and address of the grower or
packer; [or]

DRAFTER'S NOTE: This deletes an extraneous disjunctive "or"
from § 10-703 of the Agriculture Article.

The extraneous disjunction, which follows the second
item in a series of four, was contained in Ch. 6 of
the Acts of the First Special Session of the General
Assembly of 1973.

11-414.

(a) Any person who violates [§§ 11-409, 11-410, or 11-411]
§ 11-409, § 11-410, OR § 11-411 is guilty of a misdemeanor and,
on conviction, is subject to a fine of not less than $100 and not
exceeding $1,000, or imprisonment of not more than nine months,
or both, with costs imposed in the discretion of the court.

DRAFTER'S NOTE: This corrects a stylistic error in §
ll-414(a) of the Agriculture Article.

The stylistic error occurred in Ch. 6 of the Acts of
the First Special Session of the General Assembly of
1973.
