SECTION 1. BE IT ENACTED BY THE GENERAL ASSEMBLY OF
MARYLAND, That the Laws of Maryland read as follows:

Article 27 - Crimes and Punishments

681A.

(a)  There is hereby created within the Division a State Use
Industries Advisory Committee.

(b)  (1) The Advisory Committee shall consist of the;
following members or their respective designees:

(i) The Commissioner shall serve as an ex
officio member;

(ii) The State Comptroller;

(iii) The Secretary of the Department of
General Services;

(iv) Two members of the General Assembly, one
of whom shall be appointed by the Speaker of the House of
Delegates and one of whom shall be appointed by the President of
the Senate;

(v) The Executive Director of the State Board
for Community Colleges;

(vi) The State Superintendent of Schools,
Department of Education;

(vii) The Secretary of the Department of
Economic and Community Development;

(viii) The Secretary of the Department of
Employment and Training;

(ix) The Secretary of Budget and Fiscal
Planning;

(x) The Secretary of the Department of
Agriculture; [and]

(XI) THE DIRECTOR OF PATUXENT INSTITUTION; AND

[(xi)] (XII) Four members of private industry,
who shall be appointed by the Governor for terms of 3 years each,
beginning July 1, 1981. Two of these members shall be
representatives of management, and two of these members shall be
representatives of organized labor.

(2) Members of the Advisory Committee shall receive
no compensation for such services but shall be reimbursed for
