Ch. 214

(I)  PER DIEM COMPENSATION IN ACCORDANCE WITH
THE STATE BUDGET; AND

(II)  REIMBURSEMENT FOR EXPENSES UNDER STANDARD
STATE TRAVEL REGULATIONS.

(6)  THE TERM OF A MEMBER WHO IS NOT AN OFFICER OF THE
SERVICE IS 4 YEARS.

(7)  THE TERMS OF MEMBERS WHO ARE NOT OFFICERS OF THE
SERVICE ARE STAGGERED AS REQUIRED BY THE TERMS PROVIDED FOR THOSE
MEMBERS OF THE BOARD ON JULY 1, 1986.

(8)  AT THE END OF A TERM, A MEMBER CONTINUES TO SERVE
UNTIL A SUCCESSOR IS APPOINTED AND QUALIFIES.

(9)  A MEMBER WHO IS APPOINTED AFTER A TERM HAS BEGUN
SERVES ONLY THE REMAINDER OF THAT TERM AND UNTIL A SUCCESSOR IS
APPOINTED AND QUALIFIES.

SECTION 2. AND BE IT FURTHER ENACTED, That of the members
initially appointed by the Governor Secretary of Natural
Resources to the Board of Directors who are not officers of the
Service, 1 member shall have a term of 2 years, 1 member shall
have a term of 3 years, and 1 member shall have a term of 4
years.

SECTION 3. AND BE IT FURTHER ENACTED, That this Act shall
take effect July 1, 1986.

CHAPTER 214

(House Bill 562)

AN ACT concerning

Family Law - Actions for Breach of Promise to Marry and
Alienation of Affections

FOR the purpose of repealing a certain provision of law that
prohibits a person from asserting or settling certain
claims, filing or threatening to file certain actions,
attempting to induce another individual to assert, settle,
file, or threaten to file certain prohibited actions, or
receiving or accepting any money in payment of certain
claims relating to breach of promise to marry and alienation
of affections.
