(e) (1) In Baltimore County the salaries of the members of
the board of license commissioners shall be as determined from
time to time by "Baltimore County, Maryland," in such amounts as
are deemed reasonable and proper, but the annual salary of the
chairman shall be not less than [$6,750] $8,000 $10,000 and the
annual salary of each of the associate members shall be not less
than [$6,250] $7,500 $9,000.
SECTION 2. AND BE IT FURTHER ENACTED, That, pursuant to
Article III, § 35, of the Constitution of Maryland, this Act may
not be construed to extend or apply to the salary or compensation
of the Baltimore County board of license commissioners in office
on the effective date of this Act, but the provisions of this Act
concerning the salary or compensation of the Baltimore County
board of license commissioners shall take effect at the beginning
of the next following term of office.
SECTION 3. AND BE IT FURTHER ENACTED, That this Act shall
take effect July 1, 1986.

AN ACT concerning
Police Departments - Civilian Employees - Criminal Liability
FOR the purpose of prohibiting the imposition of criminal
liability upon certain duly authorized police department
civilian employees engaged in the enforcement or prosecution
of certain laws or ordinances relating to controlled
dangerous substances; and allowing duly authorized police
department civilian employees to temporarily possess
controlled dangerous substances or controlled paraphernalia
under certain circumstances.
