conducting these operations do not apply to the following:

(3)  Any operation traditionally and usually conducted
at a retail store and restaurant when conducted at the retail
store, restaurant, or retail-type establishment for sale in
normal retail quantities or for service of the articles to
consumers at the establishment[.];

DRAFTER'S NOTE: This corrects punctuation in § 4-109(a)(3)
of the Agriculture Article.

AG § 4-109(a)(3) is the third in a series of five
items to which the provisions of Title 4, Subtitle 9
of the Agriculture Article do not apply. The error in
punctuation occurred in Ch. 6 of the Acts of the First
Special Session of the General Assembly of 1973.

The error in punctuation was noted by the Michie
Company.

4-123.

No person may commit or cause the commission of any of the
following acts:

(4)  Selling, donating, transporting, or offering or
receiving for sale or transportation in intrastate commerce any
equine carcass, part of it, or meat or meat food products of any
equine, unless it is plainly and conspicuously marked or labeled,
or otherwise identified, as required by departmental rules and
regulations, to show the kind of animals from which the article
is derived[.];

listed as prohibited acts in § 4-123. The error in
punctuation occurred in Ch. 6 of the Acts of the First
Special Session of the General Assembly of 1973.

4-226.

(a) Any person who violates the provisions of [§§ 4-206,
4-213, 4-214, 4-215, 4-216, or 4-218] § 4-206, 4-213, 4-214,
4-215, 4-216, OR 4-218 is guilty of a misdemeanor.
Notwithstanding any other penalty provided by this article, the
person, upon conviction, is subject to a fine not exceeding
$1,000, or imprisonment not exceeding one year, or both. If a
violation involves intent to defraud or any distribution or
attempted distribution of an adulterated article, the person is
