AN ACT concerning

Procurement - Architectural and Engineering Services

FOR the purpose of making certain technical corrections in the
procurement law for architectural and engineering services;
clarifying a certain threshold level for certain audit
requirements; and generally relating to procurement of
architectural and engineering services.

SECTION 1. BE IT ENACTED BY THE GENERAL ASSEMBLY OF
MARYLAND, That the Laws of Maryland read as follows:

Article - State Finance and Procurement

19-115.

(a)(2) If the compensation is over [$25,000] $100,000, all
rates used in cost plus fixed fee contracts shall be verified by
post audit.

19-207.

(a) A using authority that desires to procure architectural
or engineering services costing over [$50,000] $100,000 shall
present the request to the General Selection Board at a public
meeting.

19-215.

(a)(2) If the compensation is over [$50,000] $100,000, all
rates used in cost plus fixed fee contracts shall be verified by
