(Senate Bill 682)

AN ACT concerning

Baltimore County - Alcoholic Beverages -
Inspectors' Salaries

FOR the purpose of altering the salaries of the alcoholic
beverage inspectors in Baltimore County.

BY repealing and reenacting, with amendments,

Article 2B - Alcoholic Beverages

Section 158(f)

Annotated Code of Maryland

(1981 Replacement Volume and 1985 Supplement)

SECTION 1. BE IT ENACTED BY THE GENERAL ASSEMBLY OF
MARYLAND, That the Laws of Maryland read as follows:

Article 2B - Alcoholic Beverages

158.

(f) (1) The board of license commissioners for Baltimore
County is authorized to appoint a chief license inspector and
such other license inspectors as the board from time to time
deems necessary. The salary of the chief license inspector may
not be less than [$6,784] $8,000 per annum and the salary of each
of the remaining license inspectors may not be less than [$6,360]
$7,500 per annum.

(2) In Baltimore County, in addition to the other
powers and duties conferred on them the board of license
commissioners may prescribe rules and regulations regarding the
presence of any person not designated under § 2(t)(2) of this
article on any premises licensed to sell alcoholic beverages; and
also may prescribe rules and regulations concerning the granting
and the date of issuing licenses when the actual use of the
license is to be deferred until the completion of construction
work or alterations on the premises.
