(Senate Bill 299)

AN ACT concerning

The Board of Examiners of Hearing Aid Dealers -
Criminal Violations

FOR the purpose of deleting certain actions from the list of
criminal misdemeanors under the law regulating hearing aid
dealers.

BY repealing and reenacting, with amendments,

Article 56 - Licenses

Section 526(a)

Annotated Code of Maryland

(1983 Replacement Volume and 1985 Supplement)

SECTION 1. BE IT ENACTED BY THE GENERAL ASSEMBLY OF
MARYLAND, That the Laws of Maryland read as follows:

Article 56 - Licenses

526.

(a) Violation of § 509, § 510, § 521(2), (3), (4), (5),
(6), (8), (9), (10), OR (11), or § 522 of this subtitle is a
misdemeanor punishable, upon conviction, by a fine of not more
than $500 or by imprisonment for not more than ninety days, or
both.

SECTION 2. AND BE IT FURTHER ENACTED, That this Act shall
take effect July 1, 1986.
