MUNICIPAL CHARTERS

A resolution of the Mayor and Common Council of the Town of
University Park, Maryland adopted pursuant to the authority of
Article XI-E of the Constitution of Maryland and Sections 12 and
13 of Article 23A of the Annotated Code of Maryland (1981 Repl.
Vol.), to amend a certain provisions of the Charter of the Town
of University Park by adding Subsection (e) to Section 803,
"Construction of Sidewalks, Curbs, Etc." to exempt from the
requirements of Section 803 minor construction activity involved
in the repair and maintenance of existing sidewalks, curbs,
gutters, roadbeds or streets.

[Section 803(e) of the Charter of the Town of University
Park, Prince George's County, as found in the compilation of
Municipal Charters of Maryland (1983 Edition), added.

Effective Date April 27, 1985]

RESOLUTION NO. 85-3

A resolution of the Mayor and Common Council of the Town of
University Park, Maryland adopted pursuant to the authority of
Article XI-E of the Constitution of Maryland and Sections 12 and
13 of Article 23-A of the Annotated Code of Maryland (1981 Repl.
Vol.), to amend certain provisions of the Charter of the Town of
University Park by repealing and reenacting Section 804, "Bids
and Contracts" to change the provisions for advertising for bids
on certain construction contracts, to require that all bids be
accompanied by bonds insuring the bids and to exempt from bid
requirements proposals for work to be performed under contract
where the amount of the contract does not exceed $2,500.00.

amendments.

Resolution of the Mayor and Common Council of the Town of
University Park, Maryland adopted pursuant to the authority of
Article XI-E of the Constitution of Maryland and Sections 12 and
13 of Article 23-A of the Annotated Code of Maryland (1981 Rep.
Vol.), to amend certain provisions of the Charter of the Town of
University Park by repealing and reenacting Section 304,
"Meetings of Mayor and Council", of the Charter of the Town of
