MUNICIPAL CHARTERS
RESOLUTION NO. R-6-85
Resolution of the Town Council of the Town of Somerset
adopted pursuant to the authority of Article XI-E of the
Constitution of Maryland and Section 13 of Article 23A of the
Annotated Code of Maryland to amend Section 83-29 of the Charter
of the Town of Somerset as it appears in the Montgomery County
Code (1972) so as to change the date for the election of the
Mayor and Councilmen from the first Monday in May of every year
to the first Monday in April of every year, beginning with the
elections to be held from and after April 7, 1986.

Montgomery County, as found in the compilation of Municipal
Charters of Maryland (1983 Edition), repealed and reenacted, with
amendments.
Effective Date May 21, 1985]

RESOLUTION of the Mayor and Council of the City of Taneytown
adopted pursuant to the authority of Section 3 ("Home Rule) of
Article XI-E ("Municipal Corporations") of the Constitution of
Maryland and of Section 13 (under subtitle "Home Rule") of
Article 23A ("Corporations-Municipal") of the Annotated Code of
Maryland to amend the Charter of the City of Taneytown (1978
Edition) by amending Section 304(b) entitled "Powers and Duties"
to provide for clarification of an ambiguity.
[Section 304(b) of the Charter of the City of Taneytown,
Carroll County, as found in the compilation of Municipal Charters
of Maryland (1983 Edition), repealed and added.
Effective Date October 29, 1985]
