MUNICIPAL CHARTERS
MAYOR AND COUNCIL OF FUNKSTOWN
A RESOLUTION OF MAYOR AND COUNCIL OF FUNKSTOWN, a municipal
corporation under Article 23A of the Annotated Code of Maryland
(1981 Replacement Volume 1984 Cumulative Supplement), to amend
Section 14-26 of the Code of the Public Local Laws of Washington
County (1970 Edition), being Article 22 of the Code of Public
Local Laws of Maryland, Section 14-26 being a part of the Charter
of Mayor and Council of Funkstown, to provide for the payment of
interest and principal on any bonds or notes issued to finance
any water projects; to provide for the payment of water revenues
by the Town tax collector to the Town Clerk; and to provide that
the Mayor and Council are directed to provide and locate
convenient hydrants and fire plugs for the protection of property
from fire.

Charters of Maryland (1983 Edition), repealed and reenacted, with
amendments.

RESOLUTION NO. 4
TO AMEND THE
CHARTER OF
MAYOR AND COUNCIL OF FUNKSTOWN
A RESOLUTION OF MAYOR AND COUNCIL OF FUNKSTOWN, a municipal
corporation under Article 23A of the Annotated Code of Maryland
(1981 Replacement Volume, 1984 Cumulative Supplement), to amend
Section 14-27 of the Code of the Public Local Laws of Washington
County (1970 Edition), being Article 22 of the Code of Public
Local Laws of Maryland, Section 14-27 being a part of the Charter
of Mayor and Council of Funkstown, to provide that the Mayor and
Council of Funkstown shall have charge of the construction and
management of the water system of the Town; to provide that the
Mayor and Council either appoint one of their own number or the
Town Clerk to be treasurer to receive the revenues relating to
the water system; to provide for the issuance of checks to be
signed by certain named persons; and other provisions relating
thereto.
