laid down on a plat by G. Oliver Morrell dated November 15, 1984
(File S-2323) and the property between the Small Boat Harbor and
Hall Highway and the area bounded by West Point known as Landon
Cove and (B) the area between West Mill Lane, Jacksonville Road,
East Marriner's Road on the west side of Maryland Route 413 and
the property of the Lower Somerset County Ambulance and Rescue
Squad, Inc. partially laid down on a plat by G. Oliver Morrell
dated April 25, 1984 (File S-2285); both of which are hereinafter
referred to as Annexation A and B respectively, and
Whereas, a public hearing was held by the Mayor and Council
on April 24, 1985 after duly published notice without opposition
and the City believes the annexations are in the best interest of
the City.

CHARTER AMENDMENT RESOLUTION NO. 93
RESOLUTION of the Mayor and City Council of Cumberland,
Maryland adopted pursuant to the authority of Article 11-E of the
Constitution of the State of Maryland, and Section 13 of Article
23A of the Annotated Code of Maryland, entitled "Municipal
Corporations", as said Section was enacted by Chapter 423 of the
Acts of the General Assembly of Maryland, 1955, entitled "A
RESOLUTION TO AMEND THE CHARTER OF THE CITY OF CUMBERLAND,
MARYLAND (1966 EDITION), BY REPEALING AND RE-ENACTING, WITH
AMENDMENTS, SECTION 11 OF SAID CHARTER."
[Section 11 of the Charter of the City of Cumberland,
Allegany County, as found in the compilation of Municipal
Charters of Maryland (1983 Edition), repealed and reenacted, with
amendments.
