the council of unit owners of a condominium, and employment of a
developer or vendor to effect a sale under certain circumstances.

House Bill 1421, which was passed by the General Assembly
and signed by me on May 13, 1986, accomplishes the same purpose.
Therefore, it is not necessary for me to sign Senate Bill 884.

AN ACT concerning

Condominiums - Exemptions - Nonresidential Property

FOR the purpose of exempting a condominium that is occupied and
used solely for nonresidential purposes from certain
provisions of the State condominium law that concern the
adoption of an annual budget and, certain warranty
provisions, the termination of certain leases and contracts
by the council of unit owners of a condominium, and the
employment of a developer or vendor to effect a sale under
certain circumstances; and generally relating to the
exemption of nonresidential properties from certain
provisions of the State condominium law.

BY repealing and reenacting, with amendments,

Article - Real Property

Section 11-109.2 and 11-133, ll-131(e), 11-133, and 11-134

Annotated Code of Maryland

(1981 Replacement Volume and 1985 Supplement)

SECTION 1. BE IT ENACTED BY THE GENERAL ASSEMBLY OF
MARYLAND, That the Laws of Maryland read as follows:

Article - Real Property

11-109.2.

(a)  The council of unit owners shall cause to be prepared
and submitted to the unit owners an annual proposed budget at
least 30 days before its adoption.

(b)  The annual budget shall provide for at least the
following items:

(1) Income;

(2) Administration;
