SECTION 1. BE IT ENACTED BY THE GENERAL ASSEMBLY OF
MARYLAND, That the Laws of Maryland read as follows:

Article - Family Law

5-903.

(a) Notwithstanding any law on privileged communications,
each health practitioner, police officer, educator or social
worker who contacts, examines, attends, or treats a child and who
has reason to believe that the child has been subjected to abuse
OR WHO OTHERWISE HAS ANY REASON TO BELIEVE THAT A CHILD HAS BEEN
SUBJECTED TO ABUSE AND MAY BE SUBJECTED TO FUTURE ABUSE shall:
