Senate Bill No. 288

AN ACT concerning

Vehicle Laws - Parking Privileges for Disabled Persons -

Reciprocity

FOR the purpose of requiring a person who displays a disabled
person's parking permit issued by another state to be
accorded certain parking privileges; and clarifying
language.

BY repealing and reenacting, without amendments,

SECTION 1. BE IT ENACTED BY THE GENERAL ASSEMBLY OF
MARYLAND, That the Laws of Maryland read as follows:

Article - Transportation

1-101.

(a) In this article the following words have the meanings
indicated.

(c) "Any state" means:

(1)  Any state, possession, or territory of the United

States;

(2)  The District of Columbia; and

(3)  The Commonwealth of Puerto Rico.
