3590 JOINT RESOLUTIONS
(3) 1 member from the Maryland Office of Environmental
Programs, appointed by the Governor;
(4) 1 member from the Maryland Department of Natural
Resources, appointed by the Governor;
(5) 1 member from Maryland Environmental Service State
Water Quality Advisory Committee, appointed by the Governor;
(6) 1 member from the Maryland Department of State
Planning, appointed by the Governor;
(7) 1 member from private industry involved in the
provision of sewage treatment, appointed by the Governor; and
(8) 1 member from the environmental community, appointed by
the Governor; and
(9) 1 member of the general public with expertise in
investment banking, appointed by the Governor; and be it further
RESOLVED, That the Legislative Policy Committee designate
the chairman of the committee; and be it further
RESOLVED, That the committee shall report its findings and
recommendations to the General Assembly and the Governor by
December 1, 1986; and be it further
RESOLVED, That staff for the Committee be provided by the
Department of Health and Mental Hygiene and the Department of
State Planning; and be it further
RESOLVED, That copies of this Resolution be forwarded by the
Department of Legislative Reference to the Honorable Harry
Hughes, Governor of Maryland; the Honorable Melvin A. Steinberg,
President of the Senate of Maryland; the Honorable Benjamin L.
Cardin, Speaker of the House of Delegates; William M. Eichbaum,
Assistant Secretary for Environmental Programs, the Honorable
Adele Wilzack, R.N. M.S., Secretary of the Department of Health
and Mental Hygiene, 201 W. Preston St., Baltimore, MD 21201;
Torrey C. Brown, Secretary of Natural Resources, Department of
Natural Resources, Tawes State Office Building, 580 Taylor Ave.,
