JOINT RESOLUTIONS

(4)  1 member from the Department of Natural Resources,
appointed by the Governor;

(5)  1 member from the Department of State Planning,
appointed by the Governor;

(6)  1 member from the Maryland Environmental Service State
Water Quality Advisory Committee, appointed by the Governor;

(7)  1 member from private industry involved in the
provision of sewage treatment, appointed by the Governor;

(8)  1 member with expertise in investment banking,
appointed by the Governor; and

(9)  1 member from the environmental community, appointed by
the Governor; and be it further

RESOLVED, That the Legislative Policy Committee designate
the Chairman of the Committee; and be it further

RESOLVED, That the Committee shall report its findings and
recommendations to the General Assembly and the Governor by
December 1, 1986; and be it further

RESOLVED, That staff for the Committee be provided by the
Department of Health and Mental Hygiene and the Department of
Natural Resources State Planning; and be it further

RESOLVED, That copies of this Resolution be forwarded by the
Department of Legislative Reference to the Honorable Harry
Hughes, Governor of Maryland, the Honorable Melvin A. Steinberg,
President of the Senate of Maryland, the Honorable Benjamin L.
Cardin, Speaker of the House of Delegates; the Honorable Adele
Wilzack, R.N., M.S., Secretary of Health and Mental Hygiene, 201
West Preston Street, Baltimore, MD 21201; the Honorable Torrey C.
