FOR THE AWARD OF OR BEING AWARDED A STATE CONTRACT. THE BOARD OF
PUBLIC WORKS MAY SUSPEND A PERSON PENDING A FINAL DEBARMENT
DECISION BY THE BOARD.

SECTION 3. AND BE IT FURTHER ENACTED, That the
effectiveness of this Act is contingent upon the passage of

Chapter ___ (S.B. 162) of the Acts of the General Assembly of

1986. If that measure fails of enactment, this Act is null and
void and of no further effect.

SECTION 2 1. AND BE IT FURTHER ENACTED, That, subject to
Section 2 above, this Act shall take effect July 1, 1986 1987.

AN ACT concerning

State Finance and Procurement - Real Property Leases

FOR the purpose of establishing that the preferred method for
awarding contracts for the procurement of real property
leases is by competitive negotiation; establishing certain
specific procedures for the procurement of real property
leases; defining a certain term; and generally relating to
the procurement of real property leases.
