(c) (1) The Appeals Board shall have jurisdiction to hear
and decide all appeals arising under the provisions of §
17-201[(d)] (E) of this [article] SUBTITLE.

SECTION 2. AND BE IT FURTHER ENACTED, That the Revisor'S
Notes contained in this Act are not law and may not be considered
to have been enacted as a part of this Act.

SECTION 3. AND BE IT FURTHER ENACTED, That this Act
take effect July 1, 1986.

Procurement Law - Revision

FOR the purpose of revising the State law relating to the
procurement of services, supplies, and construction;
renumbering certain provisions of Division II of the State
Finance and Procurement Article, with substantive and
stylistic revisions; transferring certain provisions of the
State Finance and Procurement Article, with stylistic
amendments, to other articles of the Code; transferring
Division III of the Article to be part of Division II of the
Article; defining certain terms; providing for the effect,
construction, and effective date of this Act; and generally
transferring, revising, adding, or repealing provisions
relating to procurement contracts entered into by the State
or local subdivisions.
