AN ACT concerning
Charles County - Board of Examiners and Supervisors
of Electricians
FOR the purpose of repealing the requirement that the County
Commissioners of Charles County create a Board of Examiners
and Supervisors of Electricians; authorizing the Charles
County Commissioners to adopt certain regulations governing
electrical installation, apparatus, and wiring in Charles
County; authorizing the County Commissioners to create a
Board of Electrical Examiners and Supervisors, and providing
for the Board's authority and responsibilities, and
appointment and removal; providing penalties; exempting
certain individuals engaged in the business of installing,
erecting, or repairing certain electrical apparatus from
specific licensing requirements in Charles County; requiring
the Board of Examiners and Supervisors of Electricians to
adopt certain regulations governing electrical installation,
apparatus, and wiring in Charles County; exempting certain
persons who exercise a franchise granted by the Public
Service Commission, or who performs electrical work for a
certain person, from certain requirements in Charles County;
and generally relating to electrical installation and
maintenance in Charles County and to County supervision of
these activities.
