HARRY HUGHES, Governor 31
(2) The annual license fee for restaurants serving
alcoholic beverages on Sunday under this subsection is $100 in
addition to the annual license fee for the license held.]
DRAFTER'S NOTE: This repeals provisions of law that failed
referendum of the voters of Garrett County at the
general election held in November 1984.
The provisions of law were contained in Ch. 129 of the
Acts of the General Assembly of 1984, which further
provided, in Section 2. of that Act, that if a
majority of the votes cast in the election were "For
allowing restaurants in Garrett County to serve
alcoholic beverages on Sunday between the hours of 1
p.m. and midnight" the provisions of the act shall
become effective on the 30th day following the
official canvass of votes for the referendum.
The failure of the referendum was noted by the Michie
Company.

Regular Session of the General Assembly of 1985, which
amended subsection (a-1), but not the misspelled word
"Commissioners".
The error was noted by the Computer Division of the
Department of Legislative Reference.
