SECTION 1. BE IT ENACTED BY THE GENERAL ASSEMBLY OF

MARYLAND, That Section(s) 7-201(t), (u), and (v), respectively,

of Article - Health - Environmental of the Annotated Code of

Maryland be renumbered to be Section(s) 7-201(u), (v), and (w),
respectively.

SECTION 1. BE IT ENACTED BY THE GENERAL ASSEMBLY OF

MARYLAND 2. AND BE IT FURTHER ENACTED, That the Laws of Maryland
read as follows:

Article - Health - Environmental

9-101.

(a) In this title the following words have the meanings
indicated.

(j) (1) "Solid waste" means any [garbage, refuse, sludge,
or liquid from industrial, commercial, mining, or agricultural
operations or from community activities.

(2) "Solid waste" does not include solid or dissolved
material in domestic sewerage or in irrigation return flows.]:

7-201.

(T) (1) "SOLID WASTE" MEANS ANY:

(I)  ABANDONED MATERIAL OR SUBSTANCE WHICH IS
DISPOSED OF, BURNED, OR INCINERATED OR ACCUMULATED, STORED, OR
TREATED BEFORE OR IN LIEU OF BEING DISPOSED OF, BURNED, OR
INCINERATED;

(II)  MATERIAL OR SUBSTANCE WHICH IS RECYCLED OR
ACCUMULATED, STORED, OR TREATED BEFORE RECYCLING; OR
