(1) A person who engages in a transient business in
violation of this section is guilty of a misdemeanor and on
conviction, shall be subject to a fine not to exceed $2,500 or
imprisonment for not more than 1 year, or both.

(m) Law-enforcement personnel from the City of Hagerstown
IF THE VENDOR INTENDS TO DO BUSINESS IN HAGERSTOWN, [Washington
County] THE COUNTY IN WHICH THE VENDOR DOES BUSINESS, and the
State may enforce compliance with the provisions of this section.

SECTION 2. AND BE IT FURTHER ENACTED, That this Act shall
take effect July 1, 1986.

AN ACT concerning

Landfill Refuse Disposal Systems and Sludge Composting
Facilities - Permit Renewal

FOR the purpose of requiring a public hearing before the approval
of certain changes in plans or specifications for certain

water supply, sewerage, or refuse disposal systems;

permitting the Department of Health and Mental Hygiene to
refuse to renew a permit for a landfill refuse disposal
system or a sludge composting facility under certain
circumstances; eliminating a certain provision of law
requiring a permittee to file a certain application; and
generally relating to permits for landfill refuse disposal
systems and sludge composting facilities.

BY repealing and reenacting, with amendments,
