(B) (1) AFTER A BOXING , OR SPARRING, OR WRESTLING MATCH
OR EXHIBITION, EACH CONTESTANT SHALL SUBMIT TO A CHEMICAL TEST OF
THE CONTESTANT'S URINE TO DETECT THE PRESENCE OF A DRUG OR
CONTROLLED DANGEROUS SUBSTANCE.
(2) THE COMMISSION SHALL ADOPT REGULATIONS NECESSARY
TO IMPLEMENT THE PROVISIONS OF THIS SUBSECTION.
(B) (C) IF A BOXER OR WRESTLER FAILS THE URINE TEST
REQUIRED IN SUBSECTION (A) (B) OF THIS SECTION, SECTION AND THE
COMMISSION PROVIDES NOTICE AND A HEARING IN ACCORDANCE WITH TITLE
10 OF THE STATE GOVERNMENT ARTICLE:
(1) THE COMMISSION SHALL REVOKE THE LICENSE OF THE
BOXER OR WRESTLER IN ACCORDANCE WITH THE REGULATIONS ADOPTED BY
THE COMMISSION. COMMISSION; AND
(2) THE BOXER OR WRESTLER SHALL FORFEIT THE PURSE OR
OTHER COMPENSATION OF THE BOXER OR WRESTLER FROM THE MATCH OR
EXHIBITION.
(D) THE COMMISSION SHALL TRANSFER A PURSE OR OTHER
COMPENSATION FORFEITED AND COLLECTED UNDER THIS SECTION TO THE
COMPTROLLER OF THE TREASURY FOR DEPOSIT IN THE GENERAL FUND OF
THE STATE.
(C) (E) All acts and parts of acts inconsistent herewith
are hereby repealed, to the extent of such inconsistency, and if
any section or provision of this subtitle shall be declared to be
unconstitutional or unauthorized by any court of competent
jurisdiction, such decision shall affect only the section or
provision declared to be unconstitutional or unauthorized, and
not affect any other section or part of this subtitle.
SECTION 2. AND BE IT FURTHER ENACTED, That this Act shall
take effect July 1, 1986.
