[(5)] (4) Shall either hold a degree in architecture
from an architectural school in the United States accredited
within two years of the applicant's graduation therefrom by the
National Architectural Accrediting Board or shall hold a degree
in architecture from a foreign architectural school judged by the
Board to be comparable to an accredited school in the United
States and shall have had such practical experience including
academic training as the Board shall deem appropriate. In lieu of
the requirement of a professional degree from an accredited
school of architecture, the Board may admit an applicant to take
the examination for registration who has had such additional
practical experience including academic training, as the Board
shall deem appropriate. The Board may further require the
nonprofessional degree applicant to pass a qualifying
examination.
SECTION 2. AND BE IT FURTHER ENACTED, That this Act shall
take effect July 1, 1986.

AN ACT concerning
Deputy State Fire Marshals - Qualifications and Training
FOR the purpose of establishing the position of Deputy State Fire
Marshal within the State Fire Marshal's office; and
establishing certain minimum qualifications and prescribed
training for this position; and clarifying that certain
requirements for minimum qualifications and training, apply
only to certain individuals in the State Fire Marshal's
Office.
