Section 468(a)

Annotated Code of Maryland

(1983 Replacement Volume and 1985 Supplement)

SECTION 1. BE IT ENACTED BY THE GENERAL ASSEMBLY OF
MARYLAND, That the Laws of Maryland read as follows:

Article 75A - Public Accountancy

2.

(a) The certificate of "certified public accountant" shall
be granted by the Board to any person:

(1)  Who is a citizen of the United States, or has
duly declared his intention of becoming such citizen, and

(2)   [Who is a resident of Maryland at the date of
filing his examination application, and

(3)] Who has attained the age of eighteen years, and

[(4)] (3) Who is of good moral character, and

[(5)] (4) Who meets the requirements of education or
experience specified in § 3 hereof, and

[(6)] (5) Who shall have passed a written examination
conducted by or in behalf of the Board as specified and directed
in § 4, or as to whom the examination shall have been waived
under § 5.

Article 56 - Licenses

468.

(a) An applicant for registration as an architect in this
State by written examination:

[(1) Shall have been a resident of the State of
Maryland for at least six (6) consecutive months at the time of
his application and at the time of examination. The Board may
waive the residency requirement in any case where the Board deems
it necessary and proper.

(2)] (1) Shall file a written application to the
Board in the form and manner required by the Board.

[(3)] (2) Shall pay all fees required by the Board.

[(4)] (3) Shall establish to the satisfaction of the
Board that he is a person of good moral character.
