contributed to the State Employee's Leave Reserve Fund under
Article 64A, § 37(b) of the Code,

SECTION 3. AND BE IT FURTHER ENACTED, That this Act shall
take effect January 1, 1987.

SECTION 3. AND BE IT FURTHER ENACTED, That the Department

of Personnel shall report to the General Assembly by October 15,
1988 on the implementation and use of annual leave pursuant to
the changes made to Article 64A, § 37(a)(1) of the Code by this
Act. To assist in the formulation of this report, State agencies
shall provide data and information quarterly to the Department of
Personnel on the use of annual leave by their employees.

SECTION 4. AND BE IT FURTHER ENACTED, That this Act shall

take effect January 1, 1987. The changes made to Article 64A, §
37(a)(1) of the Code as enacted by Section 1 of this Act shall
remain effective for a period of 2 years and, at the end of
December 31, 1988, and with no further action required by the
General Assembly, the changes made to Article 64A, § 37(a)(1) of
the Code under this Act shall be abrogated and of no further
force and effect.
