SECTION 1. BE IT ENACTED BY THE GENERAL ASSEMBLY OF

MARYLAND, That the Laws of Maryland read as follows:

Article 81 - Revenue and Taxes

The tax hereby levied does not apply to the following sales:

     (CCC) SALES OF DELIVERABLE END ITEM TESTING EQUIPMENT USED

TO PERFORM A CONTRACT FOR THE UNITED STATES DEPARTMENT OF DEFENSE

AND TO BE TRANSFERRED TO THE FEDERAL GOVERNMENT UNDER THE TERMS

OF THE CONTRACT, IF THE CONTRACT WAS AWARDED AS A RESULT OF A BID

SUBMITTED AFTER JUNE 1, 1986.
