BY repealing and reenacting, with amendments,
The Public Local Laws of Baltimore City
Section 21-15
Article 4 - Public Local Laws of Maryland
(1979 Edition and 1983 Supplement, as amended)
(As enacted by Chapter 865 of the Acts
of the General Assembly of 1975)
SECTION 1. BE IT ENACTED BY THE GENERAL ASSEMBLY OF
MARYLAND, That Section(s) 7-1 through 7-6, inclusive, 7-9, 11-1
through 11-12, inclusive, 22-25, 22-28, 22-29, 22-33, 22-34,
22-35, 22-37, 22-39, 22-40, 22-42, 22-55, 22-56, 22-61, 22-66,
22-68 through 22-76, inclusive, 22-78, 22-79, 22-81 through
22-86, inclusive, 22-89, 24-10 and the subtitle "Moving Picture
Machine Operators" of Article 4 - Baltimore City, of the Code of
Public Local Laws of Maryland be repealed.
SECTION 2. AND BE IT FURTHER ENACTED, That the Laws of
Maryland read as follows:
Article 4 - Baltimore City
6. JONES' FALLS
6-1.
None of the provisions of this Article in reference to
constructing sewers and opening and paving streets in the City of
Baltimore shall apply to the construction of sewers, and to the
opening and paving of the streets and avenues for which provision
is made in this Article relating to Jones Falls, [save] EXCEPT
insofar as the said provision may be made applicable thereto by
an ordinance of the Mayor and City Council of Baltimore, passed
for the purpose; and provided further, that no appeal shall lie
from the decisions of the [Baltimore City Court] CIRCUIT COURT
FOR BALTIMORE CITY in proceedings in said Court under the
provisions of this Article relating to Jones Falls.
7. JURORS
7-7.
The [Supreme Bench] CIRCUIT COURT FOR BALTIMORE CITY is
authorized to appoint a qualified person to serve as Grand Jury
Clerk, who shall be on the staff of the Jury Commissioner, serve
at the pleasure of the Supreme Bench CIRCUIT COURT FOR BALTIMORE
CITY, and be paid such salary as shall be provided in the budget
of the [Supreme Bench] COURT. The [Supreme Bench] CIRCUIT COURT
FOR BALTIMORE CITY is authorized to employ such official
reporters as may be necessary to record the proceedings before
the grand jury, and such reporters shall be paid such salaries as
shall be provided in the budget of the [Supreme Bench] COURT. At
