(e) [If] IF, as a result of a proceeding that the director
institutes under this [subtitle] SUBTITLE, the court appoints the
director as guardian, the guardianship:

(1)  shall transfer automatically to each individual
who becomes director, unless the court terminates the
guardianship; and

(2)  may not be delegated to any other person.

DRAFTER'S NOTE: This corrects omitted punctuation in §
14-307(e) of the Family Law Article.

The punctuation, a set of commas, was omitted in Ch.
148 of the Acts of the Regular Session of the General
Assembly of 1985.

Article - Financial Institutions

(d) "Supervisory agency" means:

(7) The [Maryland Savings-Share Insurance
Corporation] STATE OF MARYLAND DEPOSIT INSURANCE FUND
CORPORATION;

DRAFTER'S NOTE: This amends § l-301(d)(7) of the Financial
Institutions Article to replace an obsolete reference
to the Maryland Savings-Share Insurance Corporation
(MSSIC) with a reference to its successor, the State
of Maryland Deposit Insurance Fund Corporation (MDIF).
Ch. 6 of the Acts of the First Special Session of the
General Assembly of 1985 eliminated the MSSIC and
replaced it with the MDIF.

The obsolete reference was noted by the professional
staff of the Legislative Division of the Department of
Legislative Reference.
