(d) (1) A recipient of a scholarship under this section may
not be awarded more than $700 each year if the recipient is a
part-time student[:].

DRAFTER'S NOTE: This corrects erroneous punctuation in §
18-601(d)(l) of the Education Article.

The punctuation error occurred in Ch. 409 of the Acts
of the General Assembly of 1982.

The punctuation error was noted by the Computer
Division of the Department of Legislative Reference.

18-1314.

(a) Except as otherwise provided in this subtitle, the
Authority may invest funds in:

(5) In withdrawable capital accounts or deposits of
State or federal chartered savings and loan associations which
are insured by the Federal Savings and Loan Insurance Corporation
or the [Maryland Savings-Share Insurance Corporation] STATE OF
MARYLAND DEPOSIT INSURANCE FUND CORPORATION.

DRAFTER'S NOTE: This amends § 18-1314(a)(5) of the
Education Article to replace an obsolete reference to
the Maryland Savings-Share Insurance Corporation
(MSSIC) with a reference to its successor, the State
of Maryland Deposit Insurance Fund Corporation (MDIF).

Ch. 6 of the Acts of the First Special Session of the
General Assembly of 1985 eliminated the MSSIC and
replaced it with the MDIF.

The obsolete reference was noted by the professional
staff of the Legislative Division of the Department of
Legislative Reference.

25-102.

Article III. The Commission.

a. The [Educational] EDUCATION Commission of the states,
hereinafter called "the commission," is hereby established. The
commission shall consist of seven members representing each party
state. One of such members shall be the governor; two shall be
members of the state legislature selected by its respective
houses and serving in such manner as the legislature may
determine; and four shall be appointed by and serve at the
pleasure of the governor, unless the laws of the state otherwise
