   unjustly detain to the damage of them the Said Plts four pounds Sterlg
   money and thereupon they bring Sute &ca. T Bowne pr Querbus Pls &ca. Jno.
   Doe & Richd Roe
   And the afd Deft by John Johnson his attry appears to the above Accõn
   and prays liberty thereof to imparle thereto and to answr. at next Court
   which was granted the Same day was given the Plt~ also ——
   Att which Said next Court vizt. ye nineteenth day of June Anno
   Domi 1716 the Same Cause was Continued untill next Court in Course
   Att which Said next Court viz this twenty first day of August the
   Same Year last mentioned The Said Cause Standing for tryall
   came the afd Plts by there afd attry and the Said Deft by his
   attry   But there being no plea fild in the Same Cause nor any —
   answr to ye Same So that the Plts may Still remain undefended
   Therefore it is Considered by the Court here viz the Same day
   last mentioned That the afd Plaintifs in their Capicities afd Recover
   against the afd Deft~ Samuel Berry as well the afd Sume of five
   hundred pounds of Tobacco the Debt afd as also the Sume of
   three hundred and twenty one pounds of Tobacco Cost by the afd Plts
   about their Suite in this behalfe Expended and by the Court here
   of his assent adjudged and that the Said Deft~ be taken into —

   Same of ye value of two pounds nine Shills Sterlg money of Great—
   Brittain which he unjustly detains &ca.    .   And Whereupon the
   Said James by Thomas Bowne his attry Saith that whereas the afd
   Richard the nineth day of May In the Year of our Lord Christ one
   Thousand Seven hundred and fifteen at the Parish of S.t Pauls in-
   Kent County afd within the Jurisdiciõn of this Court by his certain—
   writing obligatory which the Said Richard Sealed with his Seale -
   and as his deed delivered hereinto Court brought ye date whereof is —
