August Court 1716 49 of the Said Deft~ And all which in an Account thereof hereto annexed ——— Specifically are Shewn Upon himselfe assumed and to the Said Plt~ then &. there last Said faithfully Promised that he the Said Deft~ So much Currant money of Maryland as the afd Plt~ for the afd Liquors Sold & delivered as afd and diets accomodated as afd and of ye afd Services done and performed as afd Should reasonably deserve and the afd one Shilling lent as afd and the afd nine Shillings and nine pence laid out expended & paid afd and — also So much Currant money of Maryland as^yeafd goods & Merchandizes Sold and delivered as afd at the time of the Sale & delivery thereof at reasonable rates and values Should be worth and amount to unto the Said Plt~ when thereunto afterwards required would well and truly pay & Content And the afd Plt in deed Saith that for the afd Licquors Sold and delivered as afd and the Said diets Accomodated as afd and for the afd Services done and performed as afd he reasonable deserves ye - Sum of two pounds Seventeen Shillings and Six pence Currant money of Maryland and the afd goods & Merchandizes Sold and delivered as afd - at the time of the Sale and delivery thereof at reasonable rates and values were worth and Amounted to ye Sum of one pound & nine Shillings Currant money of Maryland in manner as in the afd — Accot~ Shewn of which Said Merrit Rates & values the Said Deft~ afterwds vizt. the Sixteenth day of August in the year Seventeen hundred and fifteen afd at the County & Jurisdiciõn afd had Notice Nevertheless the afd Deft~ his Severall promises and assumptions afd as to ye afd — Severall Sums of Tobacco and money in ye whole amounting to the - Sum of four hundred & forty pounds of Tobacco and four pounds — Seventeen Shillings & three pence Currant money of Maryland he hath not minded nor kept but altho’ ye Said Deft~ hath paid & Satisfied to ye Said Plt~ four hundred & forty pounds of Tobacco and twelve — Shillings Currant money of Maryland of the afd four hundred & forty. pounds of Tobacco and four pounds Seventeen Shillings & three pence part Yet ye afd Deft~ his promise & assumption afd as to the Sume of four pounds five Shillings & three pence Currant money of the afd four hundred and forty pounds of Tobacco in the first assumption mentioned & the Said four pounds Seventeen Shillings and three pence Residue little regarding but ploting and fraudulently intending him the Said Plt~ in that behalf to deceive and defraud the afd four pounds five Shillings and three pence Currant money afd to ye afd Plt. altho’ afterwards . viz the fourth day of 7.ber and often after in the year of our Lord Christ~ Seventeen hundred and fifteen afd he was at S.t Pauls Parish afd in Kent |
