   eight pounds of Tobacco damages upon Judgement Recovered by
   the Said Pltff. against the Said Deft. before the Justices of our Sd Court
   on the twenty third day of this Instant November whereof he is Convict
   as appears upon Record as also the Sum of three hundred eighty Seven
   pounds of Tobacco Cost of Sute as also together with the Sum of fourty
   Six pounds of Tobacco Additional Cost hereof fail not at your perill
   and have you at the time and place afd. this Writt Wittness Nathaniell
   Hynson Gent: Chief Justice of our Sd Court this 23d day of November
   in the Second year of our Dominion &c Anno Domini 1717

   Att which Said next Court viz. the eighteenth day of March the Same
   year Last mentioned the day of Return of Sd Writt Came Simon Wilmer
   Gent: high Sheriff of Sd County and made return thereof in these words
   thereon Endorsed as followeth viz. Cepi Corpus & Satisfaction receiv’d

   Richard Marshall | Kent County the twenty third day of

November In the Second year of his —
   Lordships Dominion &c That he take Richard Marshall of Kent County
   Planter alis Dics. Richard Marshall of the County of Kent in the Province
   of Maryland planter if he Should be found in his Bailywick and him
   Safe keep So that he have his body before his Said Lordships Justices of the
   next Court to be held at the Court house in the town of Chester in Said
   County to Answer unto William Nicholson of the County of Ann arundell
   in the Province of Maryland of a plea that he render him the full and just
   Sume of Quantity of three thousand forty and two pounds of every way
   good and well Qualified Merchantable Leafe Tobacco in good well Seasoned
   Cask of the value of fifteen pounds Sterling money which from him he unjustly
   detains &c.   And that he have then and there the Said Writt &c
   Att which Said next Court viz. the eighteenth day of March the Same year
   Last mentioned the day of return of Sd Writt Came Simon Wilmer Gent. high
   Sheriff of Said County and made return thereof in these words thereon Endorsed
   as followeth viz. Cepi Corpus pr Simon Wilmer Sheriff. and a Declaration
   being filed when Said writt Issued and a Copy thereof Served therewith
   According to Act of Assembly in Such Cases made was as followeth viz
   Kent County Sst Richard Marshall of Kent County planter alis Dics
   Richard Marshall of the County of Kent in the Province of Maryland planter
   was Summoned to answer unto William Nicholson of the County of Ann arundell
   of a plea that he render him the full and just Sume or Quantity of Three .
   Thousand forty & two pounds of every way good and well Qualified Merchantable
   Leafe Tobacco in good well Seasoned Cask of the value of ffifteen pounds —
   Sterling^moneywhich from him he unjustly detains &ca.
   and Whereupon the afd Plt~. by Thomas Bowne his attorney Saith that~.
   Whereas the afd Deft~. the first day of November in the Year of our
