   the Said Deft may give Special baile to the afd Accon which is granted and that he
   be kept in Safe Custody by the Sherf of Said County untill he Shall give Special baile
   as afd
    After which comes into Court George Gleaves junior of Said County & acknowledges
   himselfe as Special baile in the afd Accõn and doth undertake the payment~
   of the debt afd and the Cost thereon accruing if in Case the afd Plt Shall obtaine
   Judgment against the Said Deft in the afd Accõn of Debt and the Said Deft~
   the Condemnation afd Shall not Satisfie nor himselfe to the Custody of the Sherf
   of Said County deliver or that the afd George Gleaves the body of the afd —
   William Forbush Shall not render &ca.
    And A Declaration being fild in Said Accõn as folls vizt. Kent County Ss William
   Forbush of Kent County Planter alis Dics William Forbus of the County Kent~
   on Deltwr was Summoned to Answer unto William Rodeney of a plea that
   he render him the full and just Summe of Eleven pounds good Currant money -
   of America which to him he owes and from him he unjustly detains &ca.
    And whereupon the afd Plt by Thomas Bowne his attry Saith that~
   wheras the afd Deft~ the thirtyth day of July in the Year of our Lord Christ~
   one Thousand Seven hundred and Sixteen at St. Pauls Parish in Kent~
   County within the Jurisdiccon of this Court by his Certain Writeing obligatory
   which he the Said Deft Sealed with his Seale and as his deed delivered
   hereinto Court brought the date whereof is the Same day and Year afd —
   granted himselfe holden and firmly bound unto the afd Plt~ in the afd full
   and Just Sume of Eleven pounds good Currant money of America to be paid unto
   the afd Plt upon or before the Thirtyeth day of July next Ensuing the date of the Sd Writing
   Obligatory Yet the afd Deft~ altho often required ye afd Sume of Eleven pounds Currant
   money of America to the Sd Plt~ hath not paid but that to him to render or pay hither to hath
   denyed and Still doth deny to the damage of him the Said Plt Twenty two pounds Currant~.
   money of America & thereupon he brings Sute &ca.

    And the afd Plt by his attry afd prays that the Deft to his Decln afd may answr.
   and the afd Deft~ in his proper person comes into Court and appears to the afd
   accõn and Saith that he cannot gainsay the Accõn afd of him the Said Plt nor
   but that the writing obligatory above mentioned is his Act and deed and that
   he oweth unto the afd Plt the afd Sume of Eleven pounds Currant money &
   is willing Judgment Should be entered for the Same and Cost thereon accruing
   Therefore it is Considered by the Court here vizt. this Twenty third day of——
   November Annoque Domini One Thousand Seven hundred and Seventeen~
   That the afd Plt William Rodeney Recover against the Said Deft William~
   Forbush as well the afd Sume of Eleven pounds good Currant money of—
   America Debt as also the Sume of Three hundred ninety one pounds of Tobacco
   Cost by the afd Plt about his Sute in this behalfe Expended and by the Court here
   of his assent adjudged and the Said Deft in mercy &ca.

   Bailywick and him Safe keep So that he have his body Immediatly before his
   Said Lord Ships Justices in Court Judicially Setting and held for Kent County at the Court
