    241                               August Court 1717
   a plea that he render to her the Just and full Sume of Ten pounds
   fifteen Shillings & Eleven pence Lawfull money of America which
   from her he unjustly detains &ca. And Whereupon the afd Mary .
   ye Twenty Second day of 8ber Anno Domini Seventeen hundred and
   Sixteen at Kent County in Maryland afd within the Jurisdiciõn of this
   Court in ye lifetime of the Said John By his certain Bill obligatory
   which ye Said Charles Sealed with his Seale and as his deed delivered
   hereinto Court brought ye date whereof is ye Same day and year
   afd bound himselfe to pay to the afd John his Exec.rs or Admrs—
   the afd Just & full Sum of Ten pounds fifteen Shillings & Eleven
   pence Lawfull money of America at or before ye twenty third
   day of January next ensuing ye date of ye Said Bill Yet the afd
   Charles altho’ often required the afd Ten pounds fifteen Shillings
   and Eleven pence to ye afd John in his life time or to the afd
   Mary after ye death of the Said John hath not paid but that
   to the Said John in his life time & to ye Said Mary after his
   ye Said Johns death hitherto to pay hath altogether denied
   and yet doth deny & unjustly detain to ye damage of the Said
   Mary fifty Shillings like money afd and In retardation of ye
   Execution of ye afd Testament and thereupon he brings Suite .
   &ca. and brings hereinto Court ye Letters Testamentary afd &ca.
   which Testifie &ca.   TBowne pr Querr plegs &ca. Jno Doe & Rd Roe~
    And the afd Plt by her attry afd prays that the Said Deft~
   may to his decln afd answer . . . And the Said Deft~ having
   made no reply to the Same This Court gives rule to the Said
   Deft   to plead to ye Same at least four hours before the Co.rt
   adjourns otherwise Judgment to be Render’d for want of a plea
   the time afd given being out and no plea put in by which the .
   Plt may Still remain against the Said Deft~ without defence
   Therefore it is Considered by the Court here vizt. this Twenty Second day
   of August Anno Domini one Thousand Seven hundred and Seven:
  :teen That the afd Plt. Mary Frogg Execrx. of the Said John Frogg deceased
   recover against the Said Deft~ Charles Glover as well the afd Sume
   of Ten pounds fifteen Shillings and Eleven pence Lawfull money .
   of America the debt afd as also the Sume of Three hundred -
