    229                               August Court 1717
   twenty four hours unless Such person be Capable of giving his voat
   for a deligate in Said County or be by her retained as a Servant~.
   wherewith they acknowledge themselves to be Content—

     Laughlin Flynn of this County comes into Court as also
   John Moll and Jonathan Page both of this County *Sureties for the
   Said Laughlin) and they and every of them acknowledges them:
  :selves indebted to his Lord Ship his heires and Successors in the
   Sume of five hundred pounds of Tobacco for the Said Laughlin’s
   keeping a Publick house of Entertainment in this County or —
   ordinary As also they - And every of them do acknowledge
   themselves indebted to his Said Lordships &ca. in the Sume of Twenty
   pounds Sterling to be Leveyd on their goods and Chattells Lands and
   Tenements Conditionally that if the Said Laughlin in his Said.
   house of Entertainment or ordinary doth Entertain any freeman
   or loose person in his house above twenty four hours unless Such
   person be Capable of giving his voate for a deligate in Said County
   or be by him retained as a Servant~ wherewith they acknowledge
   themselves therewith to be Content~

   William Glanvill Laughlin Flinn and Jonathan
   Page all of this County comes into Court and in their proper persons
   they and every of them acknowledges themselves indebted to his .
   Lord Ship his heires and Successor’s in the Sume of five hundred.
   pounds of Tobacco for the Said Williams keeping a Publick house
   of Entertainment or ordinary in the Town of Chester at the Court~
   house in Said County as also they and every of them do acknowledge
   themselves indebted to his Said Lordship &ca. in the Sume of Twenty.
   pounds Sterling to be leveyed on their goods and Chattells Lands and
   Tenements Conditionally that if the Said William in his Said .
   house of Entertainment or ordinary doth Entertain any freeman—
   or loose person in his house above twenty four hours (Court days-
   Excepted) unless Such person be Capable of giving his voate for
   a deligate in Said County or be by him retained as a Servant~.
   wherewith they Acknowledges themselves therewith to be Contet~.
