   Laugh Flinn | unto Cornelius Dea of a plea of Trespass upon—


the Case And whereupon the Said Cornelius
   by Thomas Bowne his attorney Complains for that whereas a—
   Certain Thomas Cooke the Sixteenth day of March Anno Domini—
   Seventeen hundred and fourteen at St. Pauls Parish in Kent County
   afd within ye Jurisdiciõn of this Court Stood Indebted unto the afd .
   Cornelius in the Sume of Eleaven hundred and Twenty five pounds
   of Tobacco for the like value of the Said Cornelius had and received and
   the Said Thomas Cooke for the payment of the Said Eleaven——
   hundred & Twenty five pounds of Tobacco then and there by -
   a certain Bill or note bearing date the afd Sixteenth day of —
   March Anno Domini Seventeen hundred & fourteen afd and
   with the proper hand of the Said Thomas Cooke Subscribed to
   the afd Laughlin directed requiring him the Said Laughlin to
   pay unto the Said Cornelius or ord.r on demand the afd Eleaven~
   hundred and twenty five pounds of Tobacco and place the Same
   ye to Accot. of the Said Thomas Cooke And whereas also the Said
   Cornelius afterwards that is to Say the afd Sixteenth day of March
   in the year afd at the parish in Kent County afd within the ——
   Jurisdiciõn of this Court the afd Bill or note to the Said Laughlin
   did Shew and required the Same Laughlin to accept and pay the
   Same Eleaven hundred and Twenty five pounds of Tobacco in
   the Said Bill or note Specified according to the Contents thereof
   whereupon the Said Laughlin the Same Bill or note afd then &
   there last Said accept and the Same with his proper name by
   his hand in writing Subscribed and the Same Laughlin In——
   Consideration of the Promises afterwards viz the Said Sixteenth
   day of March Anno Domini afd in the Parish afd at Kent—
   County afd within ye Jurisdiciõn afd upon himself assumed &
   to the afd Cornelius then and there last Said faithfully promised
   that he the Said Laughlin the afd Eleven hundred and twenty
   five pounds of Tobacco unto the Said Cornelius when thereunto
   demanded would well & truly pay & Content Yet ye afd Laughlin his
