   [At a Court held] for [Kent County] at the Court house on Chester River
   in the Town of Chester in Said County on the Nineteenth day of June and [Continu]
  :ed the twentieth day of the Same month in the Second year of the Dominion [of]
   Charles Absolute Lord and Proprietor of the Province of Maryland and Aval[on]
   Lord Baron of Baltemore &c.a [Annoque] Domini one Thousand Seven [hundred]
   and Sixteen before

    Proclamation that the Sherf make return of the panel of the [Grand]
   Jury which was accordingly done who being called likewise came vizt——
           Abraham Redgrave foreman—
   Philip Holeadger | John Hurt | Charles Hynson | John Tilden | Samuel Wickes
   Henry Knock - | William Pope | John Woodall — | John Clayton . | Charles Ringgold
   John Evans - - | Robert Green | Griffeth Jones — | William Worrell |
   The above Jury Sworn Charge given and Sent out.
     Thomas Chandler      being returnd pr the Sherf as being Summoned a Jur[or]
   and being Solemnly called Came not on which this Court fines the Said
   Thomas the Sume of five hundred pounds of Tobacco if at the next Court he
   doth not Shew good Cause why he did not appear) &ca ——
   Mr Nathl Hynson takes his place & Sitts on the bench—
    Proclamation appearance docket called over as foll. viz.t

   Thomas Cooke | Trespass upon the Case Returnd pr the Sherf Cepi &c.a And [the]
             at | Said Deft. by James Earle his attry appears to the above [accon]
   Anthony Baker | and pray liberty thereof to imparle thereto & to Answer [at the]

   Benjn Griffiths . | Charles absolute Lord & proprietarie of the Province

   Christopher Knight | To the Sherf of Kent County Greeting wee Command yo[u]

   Planter alis Dics Christopher Kinght if he Shall be found in your Baylwick [and]
   him Safe keep So that y.o have his body before the Justices of our next County [Court]
   to be held at our Court house in the Town of Chester in Said County the third tues[day]
   in June next to Satisfie unto Benjamin Griffiths as well the Sume of fi[illegible]
   and fifty pounds of Tobacco debt by him the Said plt [received?] [illegible]
