                                    March Court 1714/15                                         90 
   Exchange ye Sd James did require ye Sd William Cordins at twenty
   days Sight of ye Same Bill his first or third Bills of the Same tenor &.
   date not paid to pay to ye Said Plts or there order the Sum of Tenn—
   pounds four Shillings Sterling money for value Recevied of them and place
   it to Account of James Crawford and by the third of ye afd Three Bills —
   of Exchange ye Said James did require ye Sd William Cordins at twenty .
   days Sights of ye Same Bill his first or Second Bills of ye Same tenor -
   & date not paid to pay to the Said Plts or their order ye Sum of tenn
   pounds four Shillings Sterling money for value received of them and place
   it to Account of James Crawford And in Consideration of the Premises
   he the Said James on the afd Seventh day of 9.ber Anno Domini—
   Seventeen hundred & Twelve in the life time of ye Said James at~.
   Philadelphia in the Parish of S.t Paul in Kent County afd within the -
   Jurisdiciõn of this Court upon himselfe Assumed & to ye Said Plts then—
   and there last Said faithfully Promised that if ye afd three Bills of
   Exchange or any one of them Should for want of due Acceptance or pay
   ment thereof by ye Sd William Cordins according to ye tenor & Effect of
   ye Same Bills and Custom & usage Amongs Merchants therein be pro:
  :tested according to ye use & Custome of Merchants he the Said James.
   when thereunto required   the Sum of tenn pounds & four Shillings -
   Sterlings Sterling money together with all Such Cost damages & Interest
   which by ye Laws of this Land and ye Custome Amongsts Merchants.
   did or Should arise or accrew to ye Said Plts or that ye Said Plts.
   Should Suffer and Sustain by cause or reason of Such Protest unto y.e
   Said Plts. would well and truly pay & Content And ye Said Plts. in deed
   Say that afterwards viz.t on the third day of February Anno Domini
   Seventeen hundred & Twelve at Lond afd did in ye life time of ye:
   Said James ye afd Twenty days being Expired & past they by James —
   Dunridge [?] Notary & Tabellion Publick residing in London afd.
                                                                                           Admitted.
