                                       March Court 1714/15
   detain and Whereupon the afd Plt~ by Thomas Bowne his Attry
   Saith that whereas ye afd Defendants the twenty Second day of Aprill
   Anno Domini Seventeen hundred and fourteen at the Parish of St.
   Paul in Kent County afd within ye Jurisdiccõn of this Court agreed
   with the Said Plt. to pay to the Same Plt. ye afd five pounds Currant
   money of Maryland for value of ye Said Plt~. before that time had
   and receoved | when thereunto required Yet ye afd Defendants or
   either of them [the afd] five [pounds] Currant money to ye Said
   Plt~ altho’ on ye third day of June Anno Domini Seventeen—
   hundred & fourteen at ye Parish in ye County & Jurisdiccõn afd-
   they & each of them were thereunto required have not paid but
   they ye Said Defts & each And every of them ye Same hitherto
   to pay have denied and yet do deny to the damage of the —
   Said Plt. Ten pounds currant money of Maryland and thereupon
   he brings Sute &ca— T Bowne pr Querr Plegs &ca. Jno Doe & Rd Roe -
   And the Said Deft.s being called Came And the Said Plt. by
   his afd Attry prays that the Said Deft.s may give Speciall bayle
   to the above Accõn which is granted And that they be kept in
   Safe Custody by the Sherf of Said County until they Shall give
   Specially bayle &ca.    .    .     After which comes into Court Richd
   Davis and Nicholas Barefoot both of this County and they and .
   each of them do Acknowledge themselves as Speciall bayle in the
   above Accõn And joyntly and Severally do under take the —
   Payment of the debt and Cost if it Should happen that the Sd.
   Plt. Shall obtaine Judgment against the Said Deft.s in the .
   Said Accon of Debt and the Said Deft.s the Condemnation Shall
   not Satisfie nor themselves to the Custody of the Sherf of Said
   County deliver or that the Said Richard or Nicholas the bodies
