   His Majtie    — | Recognizance taken pr M.r William Pott^oneof his Maj.tie
        at | Justices of the peace for Said County for the app.rc
   John Underhill Jun.r | of the afd John to this Court &ca. The Said John
   Serv.t to Mr Tho Bowne - | in his proper Person appears to the Same and
   prays the Same be Discharged ordered by this Court here that the Recognize
   taken for the appearance of the afd John
   John Underhill Sen.r his Recognizance taken the fourteenth day of Janry
   last in the Sume of Twenty Pounds money of Great Brittaine to be .
   paid to his Majtie &ca. to be Leaveyed on his &ca. if in Case the afd
   John Underhill Junior did not make his personall appearance at the
   this Court to Answer unto all Such things as Should be objected against
   him on Account of a Certain Elizabeth Poulson Chargeing him on Oath
   before him for begitting a base Child on her body. This Court here
   discharges the Same Recognizance &ca.
      The Grand Jury haveing Prsented the Sd John for Committing fornicati:
  :on w.th a Certain Eliz Poulson w:ch prsentm.t was by John Johnson Clarke
   of the Indictments framed into a bill w.ch followeth viz.t Kent ——
   County Maryland Ss The Jurors for our Sovereigne Lord the King that
   now is and the body of Kent County that now is upon their Oath do —
   prsent that John Underhill Jun.r of Worton hundred in the County
   afd Labourer the first day of March in the year of our Lord one Thou:
  :sand Seven hundred and fourteen at Worton hundred aforesd in the .
   County afd & within the Jurisdiccõn of this Court the fear of God before
   his eyes not haveing but by the Instigation of the Devil did Comit
   fornication with a Certain Elizabeth Poulson & did thereby begett a base
   Child on the body of the Said Elizabeth to the high Displeasure of
   Almighty God against the peace of our Sovereigne Lord the King
   that now is his Crown and Dignity and against the forme of
